regarding the stochastic that I used on the top 5 stocks on each sector , I use a diff program
stoch(21,3,1) below 20
super trend(3,7) is above price
once i get a new entry, i put in a order a couple of percent below last 12 day close and if it fills exit at 20% trailing stop
Been pretty good the last 2 years. out of the 26 stocks i filled, only 2 exited at a loss

Redversa, So you're in the red on a handful. Are you going to use a Stop or wait till end of week - .
I just started this week - so a small list of just 5 but with larger position - have taken profit of 5% or 3% on three already. This figured to an up day given seasonality and favorable FedRes news.

I am going to hold for a few months or when it comes to about 4-5% below purchase price. [I am following oldsmar52 advice and also keeping things easy for me]
Last 2 weeks have been negative as I am unsold 8 and 12 equities. The strategy only works when I have 1-2 unsold per week. I plan to wait it out for a few months or until 5-8% below purchase price.
Also I would caution with just going with just 5 stocks..My visual analysis for the past 2 years is that, a few bad weeks with no stop loss and you are out of your money real fast as the stocks move so much.

When I run the filter you just posted, for 12 nov, I get the same first 20 stocks that I listed in my earlier post, and CGEN, LMFA, NURO, and ALTO as 21 thru 24,
My top 24 don't show BTU,CMRX,MRNA, and MVIS,
Its a mystery to me...

I'm guessing that your picks were different because redversa721 might have some global settings
that pre-filter the CROCK POT 2.0 picks ?

I'm hoping that's not it, because then his weekly data reporting to date will have less meaning to me.
The stocks I get, that he doesn't show in his list are CAN, DAO, GREE, and ONDS and they don't seem to have any specific different characteristics that would eliminate them by a global filter(to me).
I get a total of 73 stocks when I run his filter on 12 Nov.
How many do you get?
