@ Cheese,
SMH ... I just looked at the pre-market prices ...
OMG! I can't believe I've wasted all this time (OUT of the market) waiting for basically the "inevitable" crash that never was.
The small portfolio I HAD? up $9K since June ... SMH ...
This is really hard to watch ...
sigh ...
Problem is, the market usually corrects sometime in the summer or early Fall.
I did NOT factor in the Fed infusion.
A TRILLION $$ is a lot of money.
Oh well ...
I'm back where I was in January ...
Waiting for the next crash/correction, which prolly won't be until AFTER the election.
If I didn't know how to size properly this time,
then I wouldn't know how to size properly next time either
UNLESS
I use a good descision-support tool.
Kevin_in_GA gave us that tool. I just didn't think about applying it.
Kevin's tool correctly stayed on the right side of the market.
gradually adding more shares as prices went up,
all within the given risk parameters that we specify for ourselves.

Let's trade well better, next time.
ADDENDUM (Aug 21, 2020):
Kevin's tool also correctly reduced the number of shares when markets went into a correction.
All my observations above were based on SPY and QQQ in the past 12 months.

Now, this one says $7-15K ...
========================================
When TSLA started going DOWN, I was happy I sold it.
Now I'm sad.
Apparently, today TSLA price action was somewhat disctorted
People have to buy aapl and tsla today to qualify as "holder of record" and get the split shares on 8/31
Fidelity got that info to their clients
Other than that, you may want to research TSLA competition lining up all over the world from USA,
to China (state sponsored), to Europe. Also, TSLA may have vulnerability in its supply chain.
Full disclosure:
I'm just passing info that I've read. I actually know nothing about TSLA
Don't be too sad. You have to believe more in yourself.
You are an experienced, well-read successful businesswoman.
You must have been more right than wrong in order to get to this point in your life.
Here is a thoughtful warning today from an investment firm:
The first half of a "W" looks like a "V" Take a moment to think about it.
Markets will likely go up some more next week with RNC
But we may not really be out of the woods, yet.
We may be living a manufactured illusion.
Keep calm.
