I think the risks to markets will increase with many uncertainties as we get closer to election.

I agree that there is a major downside risk to the markets going forward. Do you think that putting a small portion of capital into a gold etf is a good hedge?

I made the wrong decision by going to cash too early with my trading money.
But no regrets because things could easily go the other way.
Like Chair Powell said, we are in unchartered waters with this covid 19.
Luckily, I did not touch my retirement nest egg
I remember at one time M4M and TRO used Bollinger Band(200,1) and (200,2)
to get a feel for overbought oversold

Prz Trump likes gold.
