As expected, KODK gapped up to as high as $13.25 before meandering the rest of the day down to the $10.70 Close. I didn't jump in as it never broke its initial 30 minutes high. The Jan 10 Calls finished +208%, but went as high as $4.50 in the first 5 minutes for an intraday +650%! Jan 12.50 finished at +186%, Apr 12.50 115%. Its option volume today was still 99.50 relative to its 90-day avg so I'm thinking this pump is not quite done yet. However, its order sentiment was only 52% compared to its 30 day avg of 79%. This gives me caution that a lot of investors took profits and not too many new Calls at the Ask. The Feb Puts to Calls volume today was 4-1 so if it breaks today's low of $10.10, JP Puts will pay him handsomely.
Big Option Play of the Day - TGT
Target closed above $70 for the first time since Nov and an investor thinks it will retest its high of $78. A premium of $1.3 million was laid out for 8383 of the 3/16 75 Calls for $1.62 with stock at $70.91 and total Calls volume at this strike was nearly $11K. Order sentiment of 72% isn't the most exciting, but it's well above the 30 day avg of 56%. Break even is $76.62 which would put it at resistance.
Monthly chart show bullish MACD crossover and close above the cloud. Of course with earnings season upon us, one must be aware of the date which in this case is 3/6 which is plenty of time for this trade to play out. Keep an eye on OI to see if these Calls are sold beforehand. If not, then the final target could very well be $80.

Well, KODK premarket is down about 13%. I bought the 19Jan 10P @ 1.81 yesterday so should look good this morning.
I'm not really sure how to explain this but its something to look out for and it would be interesting to know if it applies to some of the trades @mahkoh mentioned. I wish I had the trade info. One was AGN where there were a lot of Deep ITM PUTS and it went up. There was another one where it had a lot of deep ITM calls and the next day it was down $3.
Now if you look yesterday for KODK there was a large ITM Call and today stock is down. Doesn't make sense but..........

I'm holding since $55, it was cheap when it took a haircut at earnings + going into christmas historically retail does well.
-Got M below $20 which I thought was pretty cheap
-LB...this is another cheap buy if you're patient.

Big Option Play of the Day - AAL
The largest premium I've seen in an airline play when someone spent $10.2 million on 16,611 of the 8/17/18 55 Calls for $6.15 with stock at $56.43. Airlines are breaking out and no doubt this investor felt confident when DAL gained 4.76% today on their earnings. This play might cover two earnings reports if AAL doesn't respond well to the first in two weeks. If it can emulate DAL 5% move on earnings day, it will almost already be at the break even of $61.15
Yesterday's spotlight - TGT
Target 4.62% gain catapulted the 3/16 75 Calls 75%! Close today of $74 puts it at the 75 resistance. It's above the upper Bollinger Band on the daily so a pause or a small pull back wouldn't be out of the question. I still think it has a good chance of hitting $80 prior to its 3/6 earnings.
